Our 2007 season came to a close today and all campers arrived home safely. It was a fun filled, action packed summer that will truly stand out as one of the best. We look forward to seeing all of our campers back with us again next year.

REMINDER: Visiting Day is on Sunday, July 22nd from 12 Noon to 4:00PM !! It is a picnic day so bring your camper’s favorite foods. We have a lot of nice activities planned. Friends of Louemma Alumni Day 2007!

We invite you all to join us for a day of fun and memories at our favorite summer home.
When and Where
Sunday August 5th, 2007 - 12PM-5PM
This year’s alumni day will be a very special one. We are proud to announce that along with our annual alumni outing we will be honoring Rabbi Shein for 25 years of service to Camp Louemma. Rabbi Shein has been a great friend to us all and has touched the lives of thousands that have come through camp’s gates. He’s been a spiritual presence in many of our lives even beyond our years at camp.
This years cost will be a tax deductible donation of $30 per person or $50 per family. The money will be used to purchase a gift and plaque honoring Rabbi Shein.
Schedule of Events
- Meet and Greet 12-12:45
- BBQ lunch provided by the camp - 1-2
- Ceremony to Honor Rabbi Shein 2 PM
- Free Play -3 PM - 5 PM
Activities will include the following:
- Alumni Softball Game (bring a glove)
- Coed Beach Volleyball - no equipment needed
- Time on the lake - you might want to bring bathing suits for the kids to get wet in the lake or if you go out on boats. You will likely need a change of
clothes and towels. - Basketball
- Playground
- Make sure you bring chairs and blankets so you can hang out and catch up with your old friends.
Notes
Please do not arrive to camp earlier than the scheduled time. All visitors will be required to check in at the administration building. We will be collecting your donations and handing out name tags for security purposes that must be worn all day (Campers are instructed to report anyone not wearing a name tag to camp staff).
